When Alpinestars driver and NASCAR Truck competitor Nelson Piquet Jr. wanted to raise awareness and money for breast cancer during the October6th race at the Talladega Superspeedway, he came to us. Following the success of the Death Spray Custom project that we executed with Nelson, we decided to go back into our Rolodex of talented friends and recruit another prolific artist to design Nelson’s suit and truck. Given the ultimate objective of creating something that would draw attention and address breast cancer awareness, it was only fitting that we tap the talents of a female. Legendary NY-based graffiti artist CLAW (AKA Claudia Gold) stepped up and delivered a stunning, aggressive interpretation of the pink breast cancer palette. The unique truck and suit were also accompanied by a special edition T-shirt and die cast models of the truck that were all sold through charity auction, raising money for breast cancer research and treatment. Do to an unavoidable racing circumstance, Nelson and the Claw Money #30 Chevy Silverado were unable to finish the race, but the project remained a huge success.
