Alpinestars, the world leader in protective motor-sports footwear, is adding positions for experienced in-house footwear designers.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The responsibilities will encompass commencing from a written brief and driving the product process from concepts and designs to materials, colors and graphic logo designs selection.
Applicants must:
. must have a degree in Product or Industrial Design or related studies, coupled with 2 - 4 years working experience in performance footwear design with significant technical and mechanical expertise.
. be conceptually creative and have a strong sense of brand identity.
. have excellent sketching and rendering skills as well as hand modeling experience.
. be able to follow direction and communicate well with team members.
. Have advanced product and process knowledge to create innovative designs and to review, evaluate, update and assist in a decision making process that leads to product innovation and performance
Participation in motor-sports is preferred but not necessary.
