Former French national champion and two-time MX2 World Champion Marvin Musquin has signed a new two-year agreement with the US Red Bull/KTM Factory Racing Team.
Musquin, who this month tasted his first major US success by winning in the 250 class at the Pro Motocross Championship in Unadilla, New York, will be joined by team-mate Ken Roczen.
“We’ve seen Marvin and Ken each have success in both the Supercross Lites and 250 Motocross class,” said US team manager Roger De Coster.
“We have also seen both riders make tremendous progress in the past year and the team is extremely excited to continue working with both riders.
“We are very confident that with our ongoing support Marvin and Ken will have their share of success over the next two years.”
A delighted Musquin said: “I am very happy to re-sign with the KTM team. It has been my home for the past four seasons and I have been very happy and accomplished a lot of my goals riding for KTM.”
The Frenchman added: “The team is always behind me and I am excited for what is to come.”
Musquin will also represent his country at the upcoming Motocross of Nations event in Belgium at the end of the month. Team France, which featured Musquin along with Gautier Paulin and Christophe Pourcel, finished second at last year’s event behind the US.
