Cal Crutchlow

This season sees Cal Crutchlow compete in his ninth season of racing in the premier class, his fifth year with the LCR Honda team. Cal has three MotoGP victories under his belt; a wet race win at the 2016 Czech Republic round, a dry win at the 2016 Australian Grand Prix and a win at Argentina in 2018.

Cal won the 2006 BSB Supersport and the 2009 World Supersport championships before making the jump up to WSBK with Yamaha, taking two wins at Silverstone and a win at France on his way to securing fifth in the championship.

His strong performances caught the eye of the Tech 3 Yamaha MotoGP outfit, who signed Cal to race in the premier class. He enjoyed a strong rookie season in 2011, finishing 12th in the championship in his debut season, before going on to take two podiums the following season and two poles and four further podiums in 2013.

He then signed for the Ducati factory team and took a podium in the 2014 season at Aragon before securing a move to the LCR Honda squad to ride a factory Honda RC213V. In his first season he took a third place finish at Argentina and he went even better in 2016 and took two wins, at the Czech grand Prix and the Australian grand Prix, as well as four podiums, as he finished seventh in the championship.

2018 saw Cal maintain his impressive pace, taking a win at Argentina, his third MotoGP victory to date.
