Jorge Navarro started racing at an early age and made the jump up to Moto3 in 2014 after signing for the KTM squad.

After switching to the Estrella Galicia 0,0 team for the 2015 season, Jorge quickly gelled with the Honda and enjoyed a strong second half of the season, taking second in Aragon, third in Japan, fourth in Australia, second in Malaysia and second in Valencia, finishing seventh overall in the rider standings.

The following season saw Jorge maintain his momentum and he finished second in two consecutive races, in Argentina and the USA. After another second-place finish in France at Le Mans he won at the Catalunya Grand Prix in front of a home crowd; his first world championship victory. He went on to claim another win, at Aragon, which was enough for him to secure third in the rider standings.

In 2018 Jorge moved up to Moto2 with the Federal Oil Gresini Moto2 squad, switching to the Lightech Speed Up Racing team for the 2019 season.
