As Balenciaga continues its ongoing exploration of motorsports-inspired apparel and accessories, its Winter 25 runway collection featured yet another Alpinestars collaboration. First collaborating for their Summer 24 collection, a number of unique pieces have come out of the collaboration, including race-inspired leather jackets and accessories built from Alpinestars gloves.

For the W25 collection, the collaboration expanded into helmets, with a co-branded rendition of the Alpinestars SuperTech R10 Helmet in black high-density carbon fiber and Balenciaga branding across the visor.

Balenciaga also reworked the Alpinestars SMX-2 Air Carbon V2 and Morph Gloves with signature piercing, spikes, and distressed treatments.

This collaboration is another vivid example of how and why RSRV exists—A continued exercise in probing the boundaries and blurring the lines between motorsports, art, fashion, design, and aesthetics. Whether the project is initiated from the fashion industry side or the motorsports side, RSRV is always excited to see projects like this come together, especially when they meet so symmetrically in the middle.
