RSRV GP HOODIE

The GP Hoodie is the answer to the question — what if a top-of-the-line leather Alpinestars race jacket, but a fleece hoodie instead? It is the embodiment of the MOMENTUM collection’s exploration of form and function. It takes the function of a hyper-technical jacket and reimagines it in a casual form. Semi-rigid protective pieces have been stitched into the arms, elbows, and abdomen. Zippered cuffs and waist snaps have been borrowed from the leather jacket playbook. Race-inspired contrast stitching connects the contoured panels. But the centerpiece of technical interpretations is the speed hump that has been affixed to the back. Normally adorning the backs of high-end and professional racing suits (including those of MotoGP athletes) and jackets for aerodynamic advantage, the Momentum Hoodie’s speed hump is purely aesthetic. But is also a perfect perch for the substantial hood. Alpinestars RSRV and Astar logos round out the race-inspired branding and a robust, oversized fit confirms its street-inspired styling.
