Engineered for MX, Enduro, and off-road riding, the SM3 Helmet integrates advanced technologies and innovations designed to enhance ease of use, comfort, and impact protection.

Advanced shell construction: Thermo-injected shell with a special polymer blend and variable thickness delivers a strong balance of impact protection and lightweight comfort; size medium weighs 1430 g ECE and 1460 g DOT.
Ventilation system: 10 intake ports and seven exhaust ports promote high airflow and efficient heat transfer to help keep the rider cooler during intense off-road riding.
Rotational acceleration protection: Alpinestars patented low-friction coating on the inner EPS liner helps reduce rotational forces from oblique impacts by creating a slip plane effect.
Visor release: Patented visor release system is engineered to detach at a pre-determined force, helping reduce neck strain in the event of an impact.

The inner and outer surfaces are engineered to minimize the effects of oblique impacts.
Five EPS inner parts with four densities are integrated to manage impact performance effectively.
The fit can be tailored to the rider’s head with crown and cheek pads available in different thicknesses to help maintain correct helmet positioning.
The SM3 helmet conforms to both DOT certification and ECE 2206 homologation for use worldwide.
